Envision Elk Grove is a community revitalization master plan that will establish a vision for the continued growth, enhancement, and redevelopment of the Elk Grove Village’s industrial and commercial areas. Envision Elk Grove represents an update to the highly successful 2011 Industrial/Commercial Revitalization Master Plan and will address important issues such as investments in the business park, corridor infrastructure and streetscaping, redevelopment opportunities, business services and marketing to keep Elk Grove a premiere community of choice in Chicagoland and the Midwest.

Envision Elk Grove will:

• Review and report on existing conditions in the Village, particularly in its commercial, business, and industrial areas and corridors, including the Elk Grove Business Park
• Review the Village’s current portfolio of business support services, programs, and initiatives and make recommendations on future improvements to continue making Elk Grove an attractive place to do business
• Develop concepts and recommendations for Elk Grove’s infrastructure in 11 key corridors
• Develop conceptual redevelopment alternatives for six sites in the Village with aging commercial, aging industrial uses or undeveloped lands
• Make recommendations for enhancements to the Elk Grove Business Park, including infrastructure improvements and redevelopment opportunities.
